The first Coach/Camp/Ride – Family Edition was a real highlight. Riders of all ages and abilities came together for coaching, camping and riding in a friendly and inclusive environment. It had a strong family feel and lots of positive energy. Many participants said it was one of the most welcoming weekends on the calendar and they loved how supportive everyone was.
This family vibe is at the heart of the event. Family can be whatever family means to you — think standard mum, dad and two kids, but also blended families and “it takes a village” families. The Coach/Camp/Ride – Family Edition is all about encouraging people young and old, new and experienced, to come together for a great weekend of coaching, camping and riding, sharing in that supportive, inclusive atmosphere that made the first event so memorable.

About the Event
WHEN & WHERE IS IT TAKING PLACE?

C/C/R FAMILY EDITION 4 - Broweena, QLD - August 14/16
It’s a 2-day event that offers coaching for all ability levels and ages on Saturday, a cool JW event vibe on Saturday night, and on-trail/on-track coaching on Sunday.
WHO IS THE EVENT FOR?
Every person out there with a bike. All ages and all riding abilities. With a focus on that SUPPORTIVE FAMILY environment.
SATURDAYS COACHING
Upon entering, you will choose your level. You are not locked into any group (you can change throughout the course of the day if need be) and are able to stay with a family member/mate in a different ability group if you'd prefer. Groups are:
1. Beginner (super new to riding and have never been coached)
2. Intermediate (been riding for a while and may have been coached before)
3. Advanced (I've done coaching before, am all over the basics and am now working on getting faster)
WHAT WILL BE COVERED ON SATURDAY?
Standing Position, Braking, Cornering, Lifting the front wheel (small wheelies), and Logs.
If you have any questions just ask, and it is only one day coaching but if there is anything in particular you want to learn on the day let me know!
WHAT IS SUNDAY ALL ABOUT?
You will get to practice all your new skills and use your new found confidence to ride the tracks that Jemma has marked out, in a super supported environment, with the coaches now out on the ride with you!
CAMPING & FACILITIES
Camping will be available from Friday afternoon, 4 pm onwards. Coaching will commence on Saturday morning at 9am, and riding will commence after riders briefing on Sunday morning at about 9am.
Camping/Parking/Facility layout will be emailed to you guys and gals closer to the event.
ENTERTAINMENT
There will be a little Story Time with Jemma around the camp fire, over a beer or juice, on Saturday evening! So, any burning questions about Jemma's career, travels, injuries, inspirations, events - save them up!

WHAT TO BRING
Bike & Protective Gear – you are required to ride with a helmet, goggles, gloves, boots that cover your ankles, long sleeve pants and shirt. If you need anything for the event, make sure you check out MXstore.com.au.
Fuel - 10-15L
Everything you need for Camping - tent, bedding, toiletries, food, water, camp chair etc.
Drinking Water - there is no drinking water on site.
Warm Clothes - for the evenings and mornings.
Some garbage bags - please don’t leave any rubbish in your camp area.
Cash - for sweet sweet merch. There will be card options but you don’t want to be caught out, so I recommend you have some cash handy too.
Battery packs - to charge phones. There is no electricity accessible to attendees.
WHAT NOT TO BRING
A non-family environment attitude.
If you are faster, tougher, louder or want to party more than anyone else in attendance, it is up to you to ensure that your attitude doesn't make the weekend less enjoyable for the less experienced, younger riders.
Family can be anyone who you think of as family, but please do not show up with a bunch of mates and be intimidating on the bike and have a party vibe in the camp. That is NOT what C/C/R Family Edition is about.

ABSOLUTELY! Saturdays Coaching will teach you loads and then on Sunday, you will have the support of the other riders, adn coaches out on the tracks.
Plus, we foster an environment where everyone helps everyone! All previous JW Events have blown me away.
All shirts will be made to order, so you will have to make up your mind now if you want one. There will be no extra stock at the event.
There is always the chance that it will rain but rain will not scare us away. Your safety is my priority and if any dangerous weather is forecast I will let you know what the plan of attack will be.

If you don’t have a bike of your own or super amazing pals who are able to lend you theirs, then maybe try googling Bike Hire in your area!
This one is completely up to the property owners and depends on the conditions closer to the event. I will let you in the week leading up to the event whether you will be allowed your own camp fire.
No. This event is a Motorcycle Permitted Trailride and therefore we must follow the MA rule, which are no dogs (Guide Dogs accepted).
I’m sorry, no. This is a Motorcycling Australia permitted trailride and accordingly Quads cannot mix with two wheelers.
No refunds.
You can on-sell your ticket, and you don't need to tell me about it! The person who purchased your spot just needs to give us your name upon entry.

I will have photographers and videographers out there trying to capture all the moments, but they cannot be everywhere. So, if you have a camera and want to see what sick pics you can get, that is wonderful! And don’t forget to share them on the Legend Ladies of Jemma Wilson Events Facebook page.
